• Comment: Handyside replaced a mini split heat pump in my dining room in February 2025, and it has been providing excellent cooling and heating ever since. In August 2025, I contacted a different company to evaluate my 91 year old father's multi fuel (wood/heating oil) boiler and heating oil tank. The boiler is over 40 years old and has only been fueled by firewood for at least thirty years. My father can no longer handle firewood, so I needed to determine if it could once again be fueled by oil. After doing an initial evaluation of the oil tank, the other company indicated that some improvements were needed before the tank could be put back into service. For the next six weeks, I tried unsuccessfully to get this company to do the tank improvements and to determine if the boiler could once again run on oil. They did not respond to my voicemails or emails.
  
  I wasn't sure if Handyside was familiar with this type of heating system, but given the positive experience I had with them back in February, I decided to contact them and find out. I'm glad I did! They were very responsive with making the improvements to the oil tank. I then got the tank filled, and Adam returned to troubleshoot the boiler. It took a few visits, but I am happy to report that he was able to get the system up and running again on oil, and my father is very pleased to have a warm home. Thank you so much for your dedication and persistence on what I am sure was a very challenging project!
