Comment: Incredible Emergency Service from Handyside – Highly Recommend!
A power emergency late Friday night had me in full panic mode. My utility company pulled the meter and disconnected service due to corrosion and smoke in the meter box. With no power all weekend, I started calling electricians first thing Monday morning—leaving multiple messages—until I reached Handyside.
Within an hour, Rick arrived, diagnosed the issue, and walked me through solutions and pricing. He made a call and got two technicians scheduled for the next morning.
Randy and Bo arrived as promised. Randy handled the exterior work while Bo worked inside. By the end of the day, I had a new meter box, emergency shut-off, updated grounding rods, a new panel box with a surge protector, and everything was up to or exceeding current code. They left my home immaculate inside and out, and both techs were friendly, professional, and informative every step of the way.
Rick even returned the next morning to meet the inspector—everything passed without issue, and power was restored by Wednesday afternoon.
What impressed me most (aside from the speed and quality of work) was the financing option: 18 months at 0% interest. This allowed me to handle the emergency without draining savings.
Although I normally work with another trusted electrician (who was tied up on another project), I knew what to expect—and everything Handyside told me matched my expectations and standards.
