Why did the customer contact us?

The customer contacted Handyside Plumbing, HVAC & Electrical to discuss a bathroom remodel after deciding it was time to update their space. They had previously spoken with other remodeling companies but felt uncomfortable with how pushy those interactions were. Looking for a more consultative, no-pressure approach, the customer reached out to Handyside to explore their options, ask questions, and receive guidance on a bathroom remodel that fits their needs and preferences.

The Handyside Plumbing, HVAC & Electrical team provided a clear, low-pressure solution by outlining a structured, multi-day plan to complete the bathroom remodel efficiently and professionally. On the first day, the team prepared the space by removing the existing tub and surround, then installing, taping, and mudding new drywall to create a clean foundation for the remodel.

On the second day, our licensed plumbing team handled all necessary plumbing upgrades, including installing new 2" PVC piping in the basement to tie into the existing drain line for the new shower, running new hot and cold water lines, and installing a new shower valve inside the wall to ensure proper functionality and reliability.

On the third day, the focus shifted to completing the shower and finishing the bathroom. The team installed a new 60" x 32" shower pan with a center drain, hung the shower walls, completed all finishing touches, trim work, and installed new shower shelving. After the customer completed painting prior to this phase, the team set the new vanity and fixtures, delivering a refreshed, functional bathroom completed with attention to detail and customer comfort in mind.
